Types of stainless steel flanges:
304 stainless steel flanges are the same as other flanges, and there are 13 common types as follows:
1. Flat welding flange (flat plate flange) must insert the pipe into the flange welded on the inner ring of the flange.
2. Butt welding flange A flange with a neck, a smooth transition section, and a butt welding connection with the pipe.
3. Socket welding flanges are flanges with sockets that are connected to pipes by socket welding.
4. Threaded flanges are flanges with threads that are threaded with pipes.
5. Loose flanges are flanges that are looped on pipes and used in combination with flanging short joints or welding rings.
6. Special flanges Non-circular flanges, such as diamond flanges, square flanges, etc.
7. Reducing flanges (also known as large and small flanges) are connected to standard flanges, but the nominal diameter of the nozzle is smaller than the nominal diameter of the standard flange.
8. Full plane flange The sealing surface is the same plane as the entire flange surface.
9. Boss face flange The sealing surface is slightly higher than the entire flange surface.
10. Concave-convex flanges A pair of flanges, the sealing surfaces of which are concave and convex.
11. Tenon and groove flanges The sealing surfaces of a pair of flanges have a tenon and a groove that matches the tenon.
12. Ring connection surface stainless steel flange (also known as ring groove surface flange) The sealing surface of the flange is a trapezoidal ring groove.
13. Stainless steel flange cover (also known as blind flange) is a circular plate with bolt holes that is connected to the pipe end flange and closes the pipe. In order to prevent rust and cracks on the surface of stainless steel flanges, the surface of carbon steel flanges is usually coated with electroplating (yellow zinc, white zinc, etc.), or brushed with anti-rust oil and sprayed with anti-rust paint.
